Why does she need to apply for citizenship to go to school? I've never heard that before. And I thought you needed to live here for like 4 years or something, or have a Canadian parent.
Peeker, yes, he told me. Thanks for the condolences. She was really old, so it's not a tragic thing. But still sad.

If she's a citizen the cost is about a third of what it would be for her to attend. She has an aunt and uncle there, so she might be able to use their address as a residence. I think it's fairly easy for us to switch, but I really have no clue.

Oddest thing here is my daughter wanting to apply for Canadian citizenship (she'd have dual) so she can attend the University of British Columbia.
